That's only two out of the three, though.

How about cats that just sit in your lap? The kind that run from mice?

Because I have no life, I just Google-translated all that crap. Either RJman's snark and Vox's wit cancelled themselves out in the exchange, or they were earnestly talking about beef, ass plowing, and cats raising their tails confidently.

You like Lesser but you insinuat that they are ripping people off, then you deny that, then you insinuate it again. With friends like you ...

To change subject , why H&s and Fox are so under-represented?

H&S offers so much that it is hard to keep track of. Some of it is very good, some of it just OK, some is dreck. Prices are quite high across the board however. I do like quite a bit of it and will get more certainly.

Fox is very much a niche brand with low visibilty and it shows up in very few places. It's lovely however. But it's the least "tough" of the major flannels.

I've no wish to get involved with the Manton v's FNB saga.

I dunno. FNB wrote an essay about Lesser a long time ago Then, at some point, Manton talked about how much he liked Lesser, and FNB dissed it ever since. There are threads on Styleforum, but I am too lazy to find them.

Quotation from FNB's essay:

"Wearing H. Lesser, one has the imperturbability of having become one with death without having succumbed to its whispers."

Sexual innuendo always sounds better in a foreign language....

Do you really speak and write Mandarin?

Also, FNB has updated his essay with some drawrings. Their meaning is obvious, to advanced members. Did he bespeak them? Are they the work of his own hand?

Please excuse my interrupting here. I like Lesser Cloth, haven't had any real issues with their cloth.

Occasionally, from other makers, plaids, arrive and the weft is twisted, meaning the plaid is not totally squared up. have never had this with a Lesser cloth. The cloth responds to the iron very well and tailors well.

The sweet spot in the line is 11 to 13 ounce. The tropical worsted is good but not better than other lines. Above 13 ounce, I have no experience. The main line is good, honest cloth. Golden Bale is Luxe but other lines have caught up. I would just as soon use Escorial in the mid weights and would prefer Escorial in the lighter weights. Golden Bale flannels have a beautiful finish but I prefer the H&S Victory Flannels. If Golden Bale were priced as the regular Lesser cloth and the regular cloth more in line with other cloths I would consider Lesser a good value. Have not been disappointed with the results of any Lesser suit I have made and if you like the finish and hand of the cloth, use it, but I can't say it is unequaled by what else is available.
