1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I play, but very, very poorly. And I haven't played much since college.

My one claim to fame is I played Josh Waitzkin (the subject of the movie Searching for Bobby Fischer). It took him about 15 to 20 moves before I surrendered. I was quite pleased, he was beating everyone else in less than 10 moves. Maybe he was being nice to me though after all I did arrange the event.

Even Kasaparov needs 25 moves to beat a average player.

Nobody can beat me in 10 moves.

I can't now, besides I am not ready for that kind of humiliation right now. It was amazing to watch him play, he was playing up to 15 people at a time and they were getting beatso easily it was scary.
