You could get a Burberry trench off the B&S forums or even eBay for that price.

OK, I must say that I really like that Tommy trench coat and the price. I don't really want to spend more than that amount of money. Is there another coat in the $300 dollar range that would be nice? I really like the pale color of the coat and the length of it. I didn't want to have a coat that is too long like traditional raincoats.

The trench doesn't look bad, though I prefer them to be longer. I wasn't expecting it to look as nice.

1) You might want something a bit longer if it is to combat the rain, otherwise it just runs down onto the tops of your legs, which is miserable, if its a bit longer when you cinch it in it flares out just a little and most of the water runs of onto the floor (although you get some on your calves, trust me this is better than on your thighs).

2) the dark blue is ok but steer clear of the white, it will look filthy so fast, if you live in an area with pollution any moisture on it and you will get black stains and just the day to day wear of a garment like that - the traditional tan would not show stuff up so much.
