Trying to figure out which top makers (bespoke or MTM) visit So Cal (LA to San Diego) to get a suit made. I only know of Rubinacci from Italy, WW Chan from Hong Kong and another italian maker. I can not travel unfortunately because of an health situation so I cant go to New York to expand potential visitors. Thanks for listing any that you are aware of.

The ones that come to mind - Divij Bespoke (formerly Hemrajani Bros), Henry Poole, Taillour, Anderson Sheppard, Huntsman, Sartoria Pastena Elegance (son is ex-Rubi/ex-Ciardi, father is ex-Panico).

Have you tried Peter at Tam Tailors in Westminster, CA? I’ve had several bespoke pieces beautifully made there from top quality Loro Piana fabrics and have been very pleased. Outstanding value IMO. They are located on second level with no elevator if that is a concern.

I did a suit through Steve at Gentlemen's Footwear from Orazio Luciano and it came out amazing. If I'm telling you the truth, it's as good, if not better, than the bespoke suit Luigi Solito did for me (he visits San Fran).

How much does his bespoke pieces start from and how long it took? Would love to see some finished product photos!

Generally about 2-3 months depending on how busy he is. Pricing depends on fabric you select, of course. I think prices start around $1500.00-1600.00 for 2pc.

I just commissioned (and had fitting within 3 weeks) a 3 pc navy blue suit made from outstanding Loro Piana Noblesse wool/silk blend Super 200s. $3400.00. I have always chosen from the Loro Piana books. Good luck!

Does he have a house style? I like the Neapolitan / Florentine style like liverano or orazio Luciano. Do you think that’s something he can do?

You can communicate what you want to Peter. He will make notes and take precise measurements. I specified medium size lapels, sort of Canali style on all of my pieces so far. All double vented. I also specifed a bottom leg opening size. The house pockets standard was okay with me. Like a lot of men, I have asymmetrical shoulders. My pieces fit and drape well. I'm happy to have found him. I'm getting good quality full bespoke with high top tier fabric for moderate off the rack prices.

You might check to see if Enzo Caruso in Santa Monica is still in business.
He received excellent reviews from Sleevehead, a bespoke clothing blogger:
