J Crew? I tried on one of their made in Mexico, two-button suits and it seemed reasonable for the price (it was at a discount store, so the price was only $150). Buttoning point was a bit low for me, however.

I recently bought a cotton suit (khakhi) from Bloomingdales.....it's their house brand and it's quite nice for the money. I paid $270 on sale..........and it does come in navy!! Fit's great off the rack.......

Seriously, I've worn it to 2 different functions already and it feels great. All I did was get the pants cuffed and I was off to the races. Plus, I got many compliments on it.

It's 1/2 lined, which makes it even better for the warm weather.......I'm gonna go back and get the navy as well.

Thanks!

there is no Bloomie's outlet. Any Bloomie's with a Men's suit department should have it or can get it for you.

I'll probably get crucified for this but..... check out the Tommy Hilfiger trim fit suits (separates). I saw them in GQ for a few times so I figured I'd try one on and I was really impressed with the fit. I literally could have worn it right off the rack (not that I did, but I was tempted). Macy's ALWAYS puts them on sale for 30-50% off so you can usually grab them at a great price.
