With all the holiday shopping going on, I always try to donate some sort of clothing each year. This year, it's coats for me.

it's not so hard...I found 3 coats in the waaaay back of my closet and just brought 'em by Burlington Coat Factory. They have drop boxes at all of their stores - makes it easy.

Is anyone else donating to a coat drive this winter??

you know you have a perfectly good 80's ski jacket in there...

I took a few dress shirts, towels and a computer monitor down to the homeless drop-in centre here in town last week. Figured those items are more in demand than T-shirts.

If I did, I'd be selling it for $200+ to some hipster kid in the neighborhood.

I usually give my jackets/clothing to the nearby church...once in awhile, they'll direct me somewhere else, but for the most part, they take them.
