What tie would you wear with this blu pied de poule blazer?

It would be easier to list what wouldn't go with it. Blue is very versatile and forgiving of other color combinations. Even that shade of blue (which looks royal blue on my screen). I'm thinking something with a dash of yellow. Perhaps a solid to keep it on the "classic" side.

As pied de poule (houndstooth) is usually a small pattern, don't combine it with other small patterns... this will make for a too busy look. I would go with something bolder like wider stripes or stick with plain grenadine ties. As KotaB suggested, you can combine with many (even bold) colors, just make sure you tie them in by wearing a pocket square or another garment that picks up a bit of the ties main color.
