What is your favorite soft drink?

Hey, I am just curious to see what soft drinks the guys around here usually drink. I have thought of cutting them out completely for a while, but still rely on them. For about 2 or 3 years however, I have strictly followed a practice of drinking diet only, and only rarely have I had the occasional Powerade in the past month or two because I was working outside a lot and that is what my boss made readily available.

My drink of choice is either Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper or Diet Sunkist, what about you all?

Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Coke... But only once in a while... They're all good (non-diet versions, that is -- I mean, if you're going to drink soda, you gotta drink the real thing!)

If I were on a desert island and could only bring one brand of soda, I'd have to go with the Doctor... Dr. P.

See, I can justify drinking soda, but I can't justify the massive intake of sugar. After drinking one I feel like I did something taboo. Also, after drinking diet drinks for so long, I don't have the tolerance to finish off a Coke. Somewhere about 3/4 to 1/2 of a can left I feel like I just can't take any more of it. Maybe some others who stick to diet will agree with me here, as I think other friends of mine in college have said similar things. When I was a senior in high school, I think I was the only one drinking Diet Coke in class.

The diet version of Blenheim's ginger ale is excellent (but has no distribution in Atlanta and so has to be ordered from the factory.) Mainstays when there is no Blenheim's in the house tend to be Barq's diet root beer and Fresca.

I never drink soda during the week, and only rarely on the weekend. My favorite is Welch's grape soda. The one I drink most frequently is Coke.

Reed's Ginger beer and Orangina (not necessarily together, but intriguing).

Hmm I like Cream Soda especially A&W and Jones, Coke (and all variations), Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Sprite, Root Beer. It really depends on the mood I'm in.

I pretty much have only been drinking the Coke zero products, cherry, vanilla, or regular. I like the more than the normal versions.

Wow, and I thought we were cool. I'm the same way. I feel like I've had a full meal after drinking a can of coke from all the sugar. Still, I never order booze with diet anything because it simply does not taste right. I drink a lot of diet coke but my favorite sodas are ones I only have on occasion. Virgil's root beer, Irn-Bru (Scotland's #1 soda), and a good 10+ years or so ago, Arizona used to make this drinked called Root Beer Float that tasted like crack.

Die hard Mountain Dew fan here. Totally doesn't go with my character, because otherwise I eat very healthy and drink only water, milk, and green tea, but I've loved the stuff since high school. I know that it will probably cause my death one day (anything that unnaturally colored and flavored cant' be good for you)...

But, when I'm back visiting relatives in the South, it is perhaps the only talking point that I have in common with them (Nascar, fishing, binge drinking, and football are out... and on my side fragrances, fashion, and books are out... so Mountain Dew is all we have...).
