What do you think of this sport coat?

I was wondering what other people think of this sport coat. "Isaia's handsome, unconstructed patch pocket sport coat is made of a striking plaid wool fabric from one of Italy's prestigious mills. It is tailored to perfection for comfort and an impressive appearance". Is it just too hard to pull off? I need a fast answer. Thanks.

I own and like Isaia. However, this example is hideous.

I like it. If you've got the balls to wear it without being self-conscious, why not? I'm assuming this isn't the first sports coat in your wardrobe. If you've got five more conservative ones, this would go fine with jeans or chinos, soft shirt, cream scarf. And if that's you in your avatar, you could pull it off.

I'd spend my $750 elsewhere, probably on $1 scratch off lotto tickets. Mainly because there's NO WAY I could make that jacket work, even with my devastating good looks and trademark devil-may-care style.

Always tricky when one is asking a question that comes down to a matter of taste. To each his own, and all.

But since you ask -- and for what it's worth -- count me as another vote for "hideous."

I typically go for bold checks ... and while I like it ... I find the white is a bit glaring.
