Hi all you lovely people out in classic menswear land ? What are you wearing or planning on wearing for new years eve? Let's see pictures and share ideas for great outfits.

Furthermore, I want to wish you all a happy new year and stay safe - 2020 has been a crazy year with Covid and all the trouble it has brought with it. But we are not looking into a new year with vaccine and hopefully brighter times.

Pajamas. We’re staying in as there’s nothing else going on. It will be a cocktail party for two.
Sounds like a nice and comfortable evening - I will have a nice evening also, only consisting of myself and two others. Good food, good wine and cocktail. I just like to dress for the occasion and not let the amount of people determine how I'm dressing ?
I wish you a happy new year?

Happy New Year! As for me, once I leave work, I am going to wear my pajamas since there will be no parties in IRL to go to. Also, I haven’t RSVP’ed to any invites just because I also have to work on New Years Day...

Here is my #ootd to ring in the new year if you wanna!

Currently wearing a spier and Mackay sweatshirt with old navy joggers.

Won't change unless the wife says to put on something else. And if I do it will be chinos at best. We're not going anywhere

I wore my usual casual dress of a double-breasted waistcoat with matching trousers over a white, button-collared shirt and a smoking jacket. The smoking jacket was almost appropriate this time as I puffed the New Year in with a Padron 80 Years cigar. The Samoa Fogucutter that I drank wasn't really seasonally appropriate, but I spied bottles of orgeat and sherry at Di Bruno Brothers while I was there on the 30th and just ran with it.

I am now quite drunk.

Nothing special. I avoid New Year's Eve parties (well, most parties...) and there won't be any around here this year anyway. I'll be going to bed at a normal time in a T-shirt and boxers (and the next day, getting up early and going for my first run of 2022).
