Watch Repair in Midtown Manhattan?

While trying to quiet my friends crying baby, I let him hold my watch & he dropped it to the floor.

It still runs but the crown has broken off the stalk, and the face spins around inside the case. Anyone have a shop recommendation & have any idea of what the damage will be?

This is my automatic Jaquet-Girard Perfex

Thanks

Tourneau or you could try the watch repair department for Aaron Faber (53rd between 5th and 6th downstairs in entry to the E/F train station).

I'm on 53rd so I'll give Faber a shot.

Thanks!

I'm in the building that's right above Faber today. And I do recommend Faber anyways, very reputable repair place.

Went to Faber and was greeted by a young woman who looked at my watch, looked at a pre-printed fee schedule & told me it would be $400+ minimum on an automatic watch plus parts.

I then walked down to Luis Watch repair at 78 W 47th, 2nd floor where there were 2 older hispanic gentleman who opened my watch, told me what I would need & agreed to have it back to me next week Monday with a new winder & crown for $50 Add a new crystal, polish off the scratch on the face & clean it for $15 more.

So you know I left it with them.

I am noting this for my personal reference. Thanks for doing the leg work!

Just exercise caution walking down 47th, that place just screams "Armored car heist-shootout"

I thought I'd update this: I picked up my watch today & it looks great!

They changed the crystal (no more spinning around the case)
They added a crown (which is nice & tight)
The minimized the scratch (gauge) I put on the dial
They polished the case.

Nice work for $65 and prompt service, too.
