Not an expert on pre-owned like @pastrystar23 and @shopsecondhandvisvim and I always wonder why bother to replicate a high detail piece like this. Seems like a bit of work.
I am not near mine, but the red upper / lower stitches don't look right. There're normally 11 ? separated red linear stitches on the size tag. Other than that, bandana pattern looks great so I'm puzzled.

Yeh tag fake unfortunately. Those red stitches too close together and should be 11 identical dashes

Has anyone purposely shrunk a shirt? I bought a tee size 4 but it is too large and am considering shrinking it in the washer and dryer. Has anyone else done this? How did it turn out?

I would wash on cold inside out on delicate, then tumble dry to see if that gives you the fit you're looking for. If not, increase the temperature slightly. Repeat this exercise until you get the fit you want. Reason being is you don't want to wash on hot straight away and shrink it too much
