Up for sale is this beautiful vintage Longines ref 6263 in with an amazing tropical dial!

Case: 34mm stainless steel case. Looks like it has been lightly polished in the past. Lugs are still sharp. Caseback markings are faded but still visible.
Dial: Original, tropicalized black dial with gilt applied markers/numerals and logo
Crown: Unsigned, period correct, could be original
Crystal: Acrylic in good condition with minor scratches
Movement: Manual winding caliber 12.68Z, keeping time well. I have not had it serviced.
Strap: Longines branded black croco-embossed calf with stainless steel generic buckle

Longines archive information about this watch states:

The original serial number xxx identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 6263. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 12.68Z and was invoiced on 10 August 1955 to the company Terrasse, which was at that time our agent for Sweden.

Watches are described to the best of my ability - feel free to ask any questions or clarify details. Sold as-is.

Asking $700 USD, shipped worldwide via Royal Mail tracked/signed. Insurance extra at cost via ParcelPro if desired. Can also price in HKD/GBP/EUR. Located in London and can do a F2F.
