Just picked up Borderlands 2.

I picked this up. Don't know anything about it, but its 2.50 and works on Mac, so *******.

Works on Linux, too. For that alone, I was happy to throw them 2.50. It's quite fun, but very difficult. I put it on my work laptop for when I get stuck in airports--great to just pick up a game and play for a bit.

haha i spent the past 4 hours trying to beta this game... i couldn't get past sector 5... this game is impossibly hard :|

what's your steam handle? usually if you don't play with friends it sucks playing dota 2...

Normal mode is kinde easy in the end. The hard mode is tough.
Get decent shields. Get good evasion. Then don't have your weapons on auto attack but wait until all of them are charged and nuke/spike the shield. Once the shield is down, either take out the weapons (or if they don't do any noticeable damage), the engine (or whatevers responsible for the dodging. Once the shields are down, fire the weapons asap. The nuke, obviously, is just to crush the shields so they can't recover in between the attacks. This, combined with how much credits one accumulates in the end, makes it easy once you're in the later stages. Even the "end boss" is easy.

There are also a few guides from the Steam community which may be helpful (haven't read them yet), especially for the hard mode.

That game is seriously hard, yall.
