The leather on these boots is a heavyweight oil tan from Seidel tannery in Milwaukee. It’s a badass full grain cow hide with incredible nap that can take a beating. No maintenance required: all it needs is a little bit of brushing from time to time, and a coat of waterproofing every few months.

This pair is built on a Vibram 1276 Sierra sole. It is made in the USA, with Vibram's Fire & Ice compound (called out by the grey lug in the forefoot). Comfort is remarkable, thanks to the super soft heel cushioning (the dark grey area visible on the heel picture). And since it's a military design at heart, excellent grip and longevity are also part of the package.

They have been waterproofed with Saphir Renovateur Suede & Nubuck Conditioning Spray ( https://www.hangerproject.com/saphir-suede-spray.html ) and the smooth part of the tongue and the leather welt have been conditioned with Saphir Crème Universelle ( https://www.hangerproject.com/saphir-universal-cream-polish.html ).

I worn them three times for an hour or so, before realizing they were half a size too small for me. They are in excellent condition and will come with the original box, shoe bags and alternate leather laces.

I am in Europe (in the UK) and I'm asking for the original price ($640) + shipping (transaction can also happen face to face in London). You'll save the 20% VAT ($140 + ridiculously high transporter fees) and shipping ($75$) I paid to get them here.

I'm also accepting British and European currencies: price in that case will be £430 or €585.

If you're wondering, TheBureauBelfast and MrPorter are selling similar models of Viberg Hiker Boots at £595 ($900) and £630 ($950).
