Derby Shoe - Camel Latigo Horsehide - 1035

Oh true. I forgot about those WF derbies. I guess I was comparing to DR’s and S&S’ recent Shinki boots.

Edit: WF uses the LH sole. But still.

Here's the second pair I picked up. Appears dry out of the box, but I don't know if using VSC will end up darkening the leather...or end up making the grain pop ?. Either way these have much more visual interest than the DR pair on 2040 I picked up recently.

Dunno how I feel about that light of a brown leather on a dark antique edge sole. 865 is pushing it too IMO, you can buy a brand new pair of horween shell Alden boots for less.

I think Viberg is sufficiently differentiated from Alden in terms of internal materials that the comparison isn't really relevant.

I mostly just buy my same 1035 size, then sell unworn at a sizable loss because it’s too narrow. YMMV.
