So, I don't know how many of you watch the charity auction thread, but, you should start. Sometime within the next two weeks, and I will not say when, there will be a special auction for a pair of special MTO Viberg boots. In shell. Um, yeah, Brett just volunteered them. Incredibly generous, and really, a chance that will not come around again, as you all know, since Viberg does not do any MTOs any more.

Here are the parameters:
Available leathers: Navy. Natural and color 8 available.
Last: 2030 last.
Construction: Flat welt or split welt
Eyelets: 7 AA (regular, large sized, not recommended) or 8 small (#2 or hidden eyelets)
Edging: Choice Natural edge. Antique edge or Black edge.
Sole: Leather or dainite
Kip lined.
ToeL Choice of plain toe, straight cap toe or brogued capttoe.

Brett: "Basically custom one off boot".

The bidding will start at $800 when this starts.

Drops mic.

Walks away.

Well these will be going for a pretty penny. Thanks Brett!

Holy crap! The only excuse I would have for bidding on those would be that it's for a good cause. I can see them going for $1,500. And why not? Galways go for that.

Very, very generous of Brett.

Any chance of stitch down for these? Had to ask...
Nyet. Brett, and everyone at Viberg, hates working with stitchdown and shell.

Honestly, you want a protective welt on shell anyway, all things being equal.
