Guys, talk me down from picking up the sneakers. I have to say they have been growing on me. BTW, I am a dad so I can’t really be wearing them ironically.

Probably neither actually. I don’t really wear sneakers nowadays. I’m honestly just curious because of the leather insole.

I don’t think these look awful, and the seed looks better than the black. I do think they would look a lot better with a thinner sole. They posted a sample pair that had a slimmer sole and looks 100% better.

I’m sure there’s a market for it, but yeah. Regardless of the style, I’m not interested in dropping $500 for sneakers.

I dont like the sole but otherwise they dont look awful. Look very similar to trainers from a lot of different makers just better quality materials

I don’t really get all the hate with the sneakers. Outside of minimalist trainers among a few other types, most sneakers are ugly if you really think about it. I get not liking the geriatric sole, but this is just their first release which is a current trend seen everywhere recently. A lot of people saw Brett at the sample sale wearing the same sneakers and they all said the sneakers looked great.

I’ve seen so many people over the years talk about how the 1035 last or the Chelsea’s look horrible in photos then go on to admit they look great in person.

I didn’t buy my Apsley’s and Oxfords because they were sleek. Their chunky looks are a different style.

I’m interested to see what else they come out with. They have obviously put a lot of work into developing many different styles all in house and not just shipped overseas.
