Very nice. No half sizes on the service boot?

Unfortunately, we only had enough leather left for 6 pairs of the Service Boots to be made. That being said we can stretch a pair a half size for you if you know your size. Just let us know ahead of time or put it in the notes of your order during checkout.

Good. Lord.

Today at 1pm we will be releasing an 8" Engineer and a Service Boot both in Black Horsehide. The leather is from Shinki tannery in Japan and both boots feature full Cat's Paw soles. The Engineers have roller buckles also from Japan. We went to pretty great lengths sourcing the components for these two boots and i'm really happy with how they turned out.

Whoever snapped up the size 10 Service Boot right away -- you saved me from temptation!

A question for Guy, just out of curiosity: The edges of the horsehide on these are not natural, as HH seems usually to be. Have they been died black? Or is that just the nature of this particular HH?

Good eye! The Shinki Horse is dyed all the way through. Well not quite, as you will notice an almost grey core on certain places, but it's pretty close to solid. It's tough to capture in photos, but this is really, really nice leather.

Yeah, really beautiful leather, for sure...

So, I take it that the Horsehide is not available, even if we were to get several people to sign on for an order?

It's approximately the same for the same size, but the toebox is rounder.

I sent a pair of the black cordovan boots back (too small) to Viberg on 11/23 from New York City via USPS Priority Mail International. It cost close to $50 to ship them

Tracking information today says:
"Item refused by recipient. Item being returned to sender"

I have had the worst luck mailing stuff from the US to Canada...

Did you communicate with Viberg to say that you're sending it back?
