THIS WAXED FLESH LEATHER IS TERRIBLE. IT IS COVERED WITH CRACKS AND LOOK AT HOW IT DOESN'T RESIST THAT SCRATCH!

Woah, the waxed flesh looks amazing broken in.
Considering getting a pair now.

Can someone help me out with sizing?
I'm a 10 in the 2030, would i stay the same size in the 2040?

BCC has them in a 2040, and it'd be a great winter beater for myself.

I would stay the same. I made the mistake of sizing down a half. It would allow you to wear thicker boot socks. I assume youll be wearing this during the winter.

I cant tell if your joking or not but the finish is supposed to become this way as someone already pointed out.

One last 2030 sizing question.

I went in and tried on some Alden Indy's in Trubalance (people say this is closest to the 2030 and I wanted to be 100% sure with the preorder) and found my Brannock size 9.5 to be pretty snug on the Indy's, but not uncomfortable. I was wearing regular sneaker socks at the time, and I don't think i could wear thick wool socks in them. Length was spot on. Would the safest bet go with a 10 or will the Service boots stretch to comfort?

I wore my natty cxl derbies today sans socks and my ankle bones got the worst of it. Ill spare you guys the pics. Anyone having a rough time breaking them in? Looks like Ill have to wear socks until it breaks in, but the leather around the ankle area seem to lean in toward the ankle.

I wear a size 8.5d or 8E in trubalance and an 8 in Viberg 2030 across all lasts. Viberg 2030s are wider than trubalance given the same size- Trubalance has more toe and heel area volume but at its widest point, not as wide as the 2030 IME.
