I sent an email to Viberg recently about their product for info, no reply back. Also sent an email to Common Projects for info, no reply. Was a big CP customer, but will no longer buy their products. Never had a Viberg boot, and glad I don't. When a way bigger company like AE has their CEO personally getting back to you, that's the kind of company I like to deal with. Even Saint Laurent got back to me when I asked about their shoes.

I can only echo what has already been said. Perhaps try them again, I would not put so much emphasis on an email that may have slipped through the cracks

Guy is very responsive and helpful. I will say it helps to address him personally in the emails. They are the sort of folks who take very strongly to politeness and common courtesy, as everyone should.

Still looking for worn CXL pictures. Why are they so hard to find? I get that there are less Vibergs to go around then, say, Redwings, but COME ON! I can't buy these things for another two weeks, I need something to geek out to.

Anyone see any boot Appreciation of a #8 CXL service boot, maybe with a year or so of good, hard lovin'?

So, show of hands, who else did get the Natural Shell boots from 14oz? I know there are at least a couple people on here. So far, Understatesman, jp2k1, and myself are what I know, unless they didn't finalize theirs. That's 3 out of the 7 or 8 pairs that had been in stock a week ago. Anyone else, or in the process of finalizing, or on a waiting list for a pair that's being held pending another transaction?

I emailed an inquiry. They did have the size 8 like I wanted, but the price quoted was higher than someone shared here. It would have come out to around $1,500 BEFORE shipping. After mulling it over, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I mean, that's almost two pairs of $700 Vibergs if I play my cards right. So I turned them down. Apparently they were sold a day later.

Huh. Well I chatted logistics and I got it down to $1375 with shipping and before VAT. So $1225 net. Took some friendly back and forth though and some creative paypal.

Also, since there's so little info on these, what material is the tongue made out of? And is the toe semi-structured or unstructured?

Yeah, I remember searching once for his Instagram or something and finding instead his imdb page.  Figured he tried out acting for a while before deciding to go back into the family business.  A true renaissance man!
