I got a pair at the first markdown at 50% off, $400 shipped? I was able to pass to a fellow member at my cost. But I know some have scored 70% or 80% but that's rare. $1000 is nuts, that pairs is on there forever though (I also a size 9)

I bought the black Zabri boots from Mr. Porter on the initial 50% off...price was $312.50 + import costs (I am in Canada). At my door - and on my feet - for a shade over $400USD. Amazing deal! (But I am aware that returned pairs sold from Mr. P in the following weeks for even deeper discounts...!)

I saw your post in GYW about this. You said you do a 10.5 AJ1 in thin socks as well. I do a 10.5 AJ1 in typical Nike crew socks and they're just a little loose. I also do 9.5D in Iron Rangers and a 9 in the 2030 last in the same thickness wool socks. If you're buying an older pair of Vibergs, go 10. If you're buying a 2020 or newer model, go 9.5.

I stopped by a red wing store to check my brannock size. Pretty much right at 10.5D. Makes sense given what I wear in Air Jordan 1s.

The heel to ball is the more important measurement and that says you're a 13? Are you sure that slider is right?

Your brannock size is usually always your heel to ball. Make sure the slider is placed at the ball of your foot and measure both feet

Oh phew. That was a huge gap. That's got you at an 11. I would remeasure the other foot just to be sure when you get a chance. But you should size off of the heel to ball. Jordans are weird and not a good sizing reference. I wear an 11 in AJ1, 3, 4, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and dub zero lol but I wear a 10 in most other sneakers and am a 9.5D brannock.

10.5 HTT and an 11 HTB you can definitely fit an IR in an 10. I can fit IR in an 8.5, but prefer the no. 8 last in a 9.

so how does this actually work? can you post the non-shell bergs they have too?

The only interesting thing besides the shell is pigment brown workshoe butt derbys in a few sizes. I grabbed some Jodhs, I think? The whole order process was confusing. Not a great sale, was 550 shipped.
