Does any one have a pair of hikers and can offer a comment on sizing? Same as your Barrie size?

Hey Guys,

Quick service boot sizing check -

I'm an 8c in the Barrie last... but it's not an ideal fit, slightly big. A 7.5c has enough volume, but the arch length is just a tad short. On a Brannock my arch measures ~7.75, but my overall length is an 8.5c.

Given that arch measurement is the most important thing and I'm still taking a narrow size - would I be a 7.5 or 8 in a 2030 captoe service boot? I've seen a few indications that the 2030 is slightly more narrow and long compared to a barrie, which has me believe it would be a 7.5, but I'm not sure. Further complicating things, this going to be for a shell makeup and am not sure if the super low toebox will crush my 8.5 length big toes.

I have a MTO hopefully coming in the next month or so in copper task roughout on a dainite sole. I ended up going the MTO route because of the exact same issue you are having, they are very tough to find.
How'd you manage to get a MTO if you don't mind me asking. Thought they stop doing MTOs.

I was one of the last ones to get in before the MTO program ended in December.
So did I. Morgan patiently sorted out the whole process. Copper roughout boot on a 110 last and dainite sole. I was going to put another MTO in before he notified me that it was the end of the road for the program.

I'm hoping you will do another run of the latest makeup: boondocker, brown waxed flesh, commando sole. Or that someone who ordered an 8.5 gets buyer's remorse and sells me his. I missed the thread by a couple of days.
