This is strangely addicting for some reason, it's a game where you compete against other people in typing speed. My personal best so far is 96wpm but I usually get mid 80s. Apparently that isn't very fast, there are people on the site who can do >200 wpm!

Clocked anywhere from 90-100.

Though this is just speed typing. If I had to articulate my own thoughts for a paper or something I'd probably fall around 60.

this is on qwerty... the dudes hitting like 200 must be on dvorak or they have two people typing at once cause that's ridiculous.

Actually I've been thinking of switching to dvorak, but I read actual studies (not the old school ones when dvorak was first developed) showed only about a 5% improvement. The biggest difference is wrist and hand fatigue.

I used to answer emails for a living. My speed is a slow slow slow 112 WPM now.

So ashamed.

Jesus, I thought I was actually a pretty fast type, but I'm stuck around 60wpm. I've become too sloppy - all the auto-correct functions in email and wordprocessing programs fix all my mistakes so I don't notice them anymore.
