One of my ushers and I found a god vintage suit we might like for him to wear at my wedding. It's a mid grey pick and pick, with a hint of sheen, notch lapels, (small notches), 3-piece. The sleeves would need to be lengthened, and the are a couple of small holes at the edges of the sleeves. These would be hidden by a turn back cuff, if he had one added. I will add a picture later on after he sends it to me from his phone. Would a turn back cuff work on a regular suit? Should it be silk, or the same material as the suit, or a slight contrasting wool? Something else?
He likes the suit, and it fits in with the other groomsmen's attire, but the sleeve length and damage are the only problems that we are worried about. Another couple of small issues can easily be solved with a quick trip to the tailor.
