Nigel Cabourn

When most people think Nigel Cabourn, they think Fall/Winter and heavy down parkas. While it is prime Everest climbing season – I think the recent deaths tell us that, if nothing else – Cabourn also has a killer Summer/Spring collection. While the pieces aren’t suited for a brutally hot climate, his mixture of linen and cotton looks great in slightly more temperate climates, and the pieces are surprisingly layerable for the colder months too.

Big Pieces

There’s really two StyleForum threads that members use to show off – the car thread and the watch thread. The watch thread is one of the few places where you’ll see your college tuition or even a down payment on a house hanging on someone’s wrist, and where you’ll find members searching hard for the matching cufflinks to their rare and exotic Swiss watch. And those repair bills when you get drunk, slip and gash the dome? Ouch.
