How does the toe box on Truman's P79 lat compare to the toe bo on Grant Stone's Leo Last? I found the toe box on GS's to be too tight height wise. The tops of my toes always felt smushed.
I can’t remember the toe box height of the grant stones I used to have, but the 79 last has more room width-wise with a structured toe. It’s similar to a Viberg 1035 toe if you have a pair of those.

Is sizing the same for the P79 last unstructured and structured? I know my size for the P79 but I’ve only tried on their unstructured boots. I’m wondering if it’s similar to Viberg, I take different sizes depending on the toe structure.

I don't do that for Truman, but I don't do it for Viberg either.

My experience with unstructured trumans was way back in the day. The Captoe unstructured boots were okay, but Plaintoe unstructured was too cramped in the same size.

I decided to email Truman and they recommend to go with your usual P79 size.
For Vibergs, if it’s a full on structured toe, my toes feel jammed up. I’m usually in between sizes for the 2030. 1035 I’m fine, but in a 2030 structured toe.....my toes splay lmao. Jokes aside. This is a somewhat(?) common thing for the 2030.

I was Live Chatting with the Truman guys, and it looks like I won’t get my Cattail Grizzly Uplands til the New Year. Kinda bummed, but I guess I’ll appreciate them that much more.

I'm currently waiting on a Coach Rambler MTO and the Desert Oasis suede build. I previously ordered a Coach Rambler from their Ready-Made Collection and it took them about.....a week and maybe some days to ship out the boot. It was a miss-size, so back it went. I'm glad it was a miss-size since they did the Coach Rambler MTO. They are a bit slow in terms of fulfilling orders, but fortunately, they're very responsive via email or DM on Instagram.

When did you place an order btw?

November 14th. We’re still within the window of the 4-5 week build time, but they said shipment delays of some materials will likely put them into 2021.

Truman doesn’t seem all that popular here, but I figured I’d post some pictures. Just got my squirrel rambler boots yesterday. Ordered a matching pair with my girlfriend around Thanksgiving.

My only minor gripe is the cap toes could be lined up better with each other. Nothing that’s really noticeable unless I’m taking a top down shot with the boots perfectly lined up. Love the vein lines on both toes.

I’ll try to get pics of both pairs in sunlight eventually.

good chance we will get another matching pair in java waxed flesh or whatever else might be available when we decide it’s time.

Those are sweet looking boots. I wish I had the cajones to wear something like that. lol These came in the other day. The first boot I've had with the Rambler leather and it's really cool.

Those look awesome. Stone and smoke rambler are both near the top of my list when it comes to current Truman offerings. Enjoy.

And I can understand. Squirrel rambler isn't for everyone. They stood out immediately when I was browsing the website, but I felt like I probably couldn't pull them off. Didn't take long for my mind to change. Plus it was my gf's #1 pick. I couldn't possibly say no to more boots.

I am actually really digging how they look with those pants. One of the things that turned me of from that color was that I couldn't picture them with any of my pants...not even my jeans. lol But looking at them in your pic, they work well.

Anyone have the new 20 last on order? It’s right up my alley, but I’ll need black leather, preferably stitchdown.
