I love H and M, but did not realize they sold suits. WILL CHECK OUT

If you do get a suit from H&M or Zara, just make sure you get a suit that is 100% wool and not a polyester-wool blend. Good luck and happy upcoming birthday.

huh, well sounds around a slim 38 or so. for $300 TBH there are some options but not too many. I realize that to the average person that's a reasonable suit budget but IMO "real" suits usually start around $500-600 at least, under that it's usually a "looks like".

Check out H&M, Zara, and Uniqlo if possible. Also consider Target's suit and def check out JCrew too.

Jcrew once they go on sale. Its a solid bet you'll actually like the way you look, especially compared to MW which specializes in clothing middle aged and overweight.

great advice for OP...i think you can find a pretty nice suit fit-wise (that's really what it's all about imo) from H&M...just make sure it is the true wool suit...you may have to search around the store a bit to find the wool ones...cuz they also have the less pricey ones that are more for casual wear.

As mentioned earlier I would suggest getting a 100% wool suit from either Hennes&Mauritz or Zara. That should fit your budget nicely.

Another option would be wizard of Ahhs from ebay. You can get most of his suits a little cheaper than 300. I think I paid around 260. That will leave you a couple of bucks to get the pants hemmed and the sleeves made the right length.
I have this one:

and it's a lot nicer than anything from H&M and will look more like the Bond stuff than the super slim styles you'll get from H&M or Zara--not that those are bad ideas--I love those stores. JCrew is also and excellent idea, but you will only be able to get one for 300 on sale.

I would avoid TMW like the plague. go to a Nordstroms Rack if you have one nearby. I scored myself a Hugo Boss suit for $300 last week.
