Hi all

I'm surprised about many of the replies here. Almost feels like being in the streetwear part of the forum. I expected more shoemakers mentioned instead of fashion labels.

My list is kept rather generic in order to allow for it only to be five entries long. These are the must-haves.

• Derby in Brown
  
• Captoe Oxford in Black
  
• Double Monk
  
• Full-brogue Wing-tip
  
• Loafer (even though I'm not too big on them - too many bad copies around - I think one day I will need an original Prada Horse-bit)

Expanding a bit I certainly also need:

• Balmoral, black with round toes
  
• Spectator, in brown/cognac tones
  
• Chelsea boot
  
• Wholecut
  
• (and many more, including lots of variations of the above
  
  )

I'm aiming to build to 5 shoes I'll wear to work, + 2 boots for inclement weather.

I have:

Black punch cap oxford (I'll maybe replace when they wear out with a plain cap)
Tan quarter brogue.
Black monkstrap
(1)
(2)

Black chelsea boot
Tan lace up boot on dainite

I do have some old crappy brown shoes I can mix in right now, and a pair of black slip ons with punch detailing. But those are to be replaced.

I'd like (1) to be a brown double monk. (2) I don't know yet, possibly something outside of black/tan (i.e. burgundy or dark green or blue), possibly a suede.

1) Desert boots in taupe suede or brown beeswax.
2) Longwings in some shade of walnut or whiskey.
3) One pair sneakers, cream-white chucks or navy vans, probably.
4) Black dress shoes. Sometimes the longwings don't send the right message. You never know when a friend or relative is gonna die.
5) Brown work boots. In my case, Epaulet Thorogoods.

If I could have a sixth, they would be rubber Bean boots for super inclement weather that I don't want to expose even my Thorogoods to.

If I could have a seventh, it would be a pair of suede bucks.
