As others have noted, a single button jacket set up, with a much lower opening vest, no ticket pocket, and no flaps on the jacket pockets, coupled with some type of satin facings on the lapels would've made it a more appropriate black tie set up

Get rid of the covered buttons on the jacket and vest, and I think its a nice 3 piece business suit...not a tuxedo
