We have some awesome threads in the Classic Menswear forum, and here's three examples:

Academic Dress

Academia is an interest closed world that exists on almost a tribal, insular level: you dress in different ways, you have different customs and habits, and you're very concerned with how to gender mixed-used restrooms. That being said, this thread does it best to bring order the chaos: it examines how to dress in an academic setting from a variety of contexts, including graduate student, tenured faculty and university administration. Here's a quick tip, though: if you're a student, don't wear a suit to class, you'll look like a tool.

Pocket Squares

If there's one immediate, observable change which new members undergo after joining StyleForum: if they haven't otherwise, they start wearing pocketsquares. But there's more to pocketsquares than simply owning a white silk square and a white linen square, and this thread will start you down this investigative path. Should you buy tipped squares? Handrolled? What does handrolled mean? What's the best way to fold your square - and what do folds mean? All these answers, and more!

Cloth!

There's a point in every poster's menswear journey when they move beyond off the rack and made to measure and step into bespoke, and when you are commissioning your own clothes, a key part of the process is choosing fabric. And choosing fabric... can be tough. This thread is devoted to the art of choosing fabric - and what these choices mean - as well as a celebration of how quickly, and how easily, fabric purchases can stack up and outpace bespoke commissions. Because, what the hell, if the fabric's only $400, the suits gotta get made, right?
