Thoughts on Drake's 7 cm Shantungs

I've got an opportunity to pick up a block stripe shantung from Drake's that is just 7 cm wide. I'm told all their unlined shantungs are 7 cm, but I usually only wear 8-9 cm ties except for knits. Any thoughts on how the 7 cm looks for someone who doesn't like narrow non-knit ties usually?

I was gifted one. It's a great looking tie on its own, but I rarely wear it due to the wimpy width.

If you like it, buy and wear it. If you don't walk away.

One could simply say yes but that would have no basis in reality, two 'yes', two 'no', you still have to choose.

Tie width is subjective. In general, narrower ties go with narrower lapels and smaller shirt collars. And narrower physiques. Nobody can answer this question but yourself.
