Don't ever get old, you are twice as cool at 13 as you are going to be at 26.

Don't let teenage girls with long fingernails give you handjobs.

Watch out for that Samoan Defensive End. He's headhunting. Don't set your knees when you get low to block.

The prank may seem funny now, but being a convicted felon is not worth it.

true, but only because most people are generally selfish and always looking out only for their interests. in my case, for awhile i put others before myself and got taken for granted, so i had to learn how to take care of me first.

- stop wasting time on the internet
- get a part-time job, earn money and spend money, don't just try to conserve what little your parents alloted you
- play a team sport
- things don't just come to you as you get older, you actually need to go out and make things happen
- always ask questions even if you are afraid people will think you are not as smart as you think you are
- if it is past midnight and you are alone with a girl on your bed, you MUST try to sleep with her

the worst part is that I still fall into nearly all these traps even though I know better..

Aside from the lottery numbers thing...

1. No, you don't need that credit card or that student loan. Live frugaly for now.

2. Sleep with more women in college and grad school.

3. Study harder in HS and college so grad school can be faster and easier (and a better one)

4. If she isn't courteous to you, shes not worth your time. Avoid that lawyer in WW like the plague. 'Cause she is.

5. S and L were probably worth the risk.

And in response to Dakota Rube, I actually fear that if I went back and told myself these things that I wouldn't be in the perfect place I'm in now. So in that realistic way, no I'd never even contemplate doing this--the regrets I have have gotten me to where I am. Like that last one.

Good one, bob. I'd amend it, though, to add that if she's not courteous to other people, she ultimately won't be to you, either.

I was going to say that though I wouldn't change any of the negative, I do regret risks not taken. But on second thought, in light of what rdawson808 has posted, who knows where I'd be if I had taken those risks, so it's all good.

The truck was "borrowed" not "stolen".

I'll let her know, she can lacerate your organ next time instead of mine.
