I love interviewing both as interviewer and interviewee. Lots of hot companies have multiple interviews and if you make it, a panel or a whole day onsite marathon at the end. I insist on doing multiple interviews because it helps me get a feel for the culture of the company and the type of people they hire which I want to know before accepting an offer.

Its been so long I forgot what I put as my salary requirements.
I just did the "what salary are you looking for?" dance with a recruiter. I explained that I am in a senior role at a major publicly traded company based in SF, and my current salary is in line with that. "OK, but how much are you looking for?"

I finally just said, "Look, you're not going to pin me down on that right now."

He liked that answer.

I mean, there are loads of co's hiring. Not sure what you background is in...but take a look:

How come they don’t list “fighting customers” under the job duties of the front-line employees?

As the jobs and companied differ I have been all over the place on salary... ie higher salary for a less desirable job)

hm why couldn't the pay scale slide the other way ?

for more desirable work i mean , i guess i could see an argument for landing the job in the first place (otoh does seeming more reasonable make an arrangement more attractive? not sure )

i guess i'd look at salary as buy-in , from either direction

that hopefully

yields a more sustainable working environment

Your right. It's all over your face and not any of your holes.
That's just nasty. And poorly written. The true Texan is coming out I see
