^I love the colours and the hat and pleats and the general mood but I have to invoke a bit of Fuuma-ism in being bothered by the combination of a warm woolen cardigan + scarf with shorts

Fair enough... actually the shorts are made of thick Japanese wool so sort of warm... and the Robert Geller cardigan weaving is quite loose, so the warmth really depends on what you’re wearing underneath (had the sleeves rolled up)
The scarf is cotton /silk veil, more decorative than practical (don’t do **** against the cold lol)
To give an idea of the weather it was 13 degrees Celsius..
I do kinda get the dissonance of the whole outfit though

@kindofyoung genuine question about those trousers/any that cropped - how do they look when sitting? Do they not come up above the boot and expose an odd bit of leg?

(also where are they from? :blush:)
