I suggest something with a higher rise and straight fit which will make his legs look shorter.
wouldn't a higher rise lengthen my legs and shorten my torso?

love the shirt, but not with the tee, pants and shoes
I took this as you saying it'd be better if it was just the shirt and no other clothes.

this goes to show you are sabotaging your own proportions by not knowing what suits your body type
No. Higher rise means the crotch goes lower down your leg, therefore shortening legs. High and low rise refers to the measurement of the rise not where the rise sits
WTF? don't argue? accept the infinite wisdom that is otter?
you dont need a higher rise....you could have an 18inch rise, who cares, its all about where your tee/shirt falls, thats how you can change up you proportions

Burberry Porsum cardigan?!
Not necessarily, jeans with a low rise and jeans with a high rise if worn properly should both have the crotch in the same spot, the difference is how high up the wiastband goes. What you're describing occurs when you try to wear high/inappropriate rise jeans on your hips.
ah i see, this makes sense. I always thought higher rise made the pants sit higher, with the crotch at the same place.
guys upper body is suppose to be the same length as the lower body. legs are NOT suppose to look long on a guy. you are a GUY. not a GIRL.
your tuck is the problem ,not so much the rise if you didnt tuck, would you see the rise, eh? ****** slapping myself*
