Yes, iTunes is the devil. Slow, RAM-hog, crappy file-sorting mechanism. I only use it to transfer music onto my iPod, and even then I just drag from a folder into iTunes.

I suppose. If you're in to that sort of thing. I'm one of those old skool rebels who doesn't pay for downloaded music. Plus, you know... I hate Apple... so even if I wanted to pay for music that I could get for free, I wouldn't use iTunes.

Nobody is giving the "hat" any love here in "essentials". Do none of you wear hats?

I used to be as anti apple as it gets (old AOL sn: macssuck21), and was anti itunes for a while. I too dont pay for downloaded music, but itunes and other apple programs are great, as long as you tell them not to sort your files. It downloads all of my album art for me, looks great, and lets me easily access all of my music in one place, no matter how it is sorted on my harddrive.

Ha! I lied. I've got blue and orange sneakers (chucks), too. Nothing like orange kicks for trick or treating.

Brands/pics/advice? I have a sacai cardigan and it's now for sale, those things are not for me but I'dlike to try a few more before giving up on them.

theres a pretty nice chunky knit shawl collar cardigan by margiela (675). I dont have a picture on me but maybe you get the idea. Margiela has a few good ones every now and then. Also Marni has great ones and I like the one by Branquinho this fall.

Love polos too, Lacoste being my favourite for fit and finish, however they don't fit a lot of people well.

do the lacoste polos tend to run big or small, i'm terminally narrow in the shoulder
