Yes. I guess shoe maintenance is one of the things in life where you are able to make something that is 'used' to look better than it was when it was new. The process is just fantastic.

C&J for RL marlow. Love the shoes but it is a hard shoe to break-in. 10+ wears and still not broken in.

Love the color of the classic RL Marlows! I have a GMTO version from a few years ago straight from C&J which is their dark brown Cordovan, but the traditional Marlow has a more reddish or chestnut hue without looking like color 8. Truly a unique color.

For the first few wears, before I put them on I wipe my shoes down with a lightly damp cloth, wipe excess water off then brush when dry.

It softens up the cordovan and makes it easier to break in.

C&J for RL marlow. Love the shoes but it is a hard shoe to break-in. 10+ wears and still not broken in.
