Agree.
I am on a similar Alden list as you. It is unfortunate that they would rather keep production of the 'rare' shells so bloody low.
This in turn creates an excellent opportunity for exploring other great options that are out there. These Carmina NSTs are on the Llubi last and my US E-width feet fit nicely in them.

Yes, those are round laces from the hanger project.

At the beginning, for quite a few months, I didn't wear them much, but oddly enough (to me), they are the pair of shell boots that receive the most consistent compliments in my office.
