Your jacket collar fits much better than MR's.

Superb, Bill, you may not have as much of this!

But, my older untrained eye prefers your look to Mariano and Luca's look.

Of course, you do not live in Naples.

This is not meant to be an ad hominem attack on your judgment or taste, so let's forget about fairness as to you. For the most part, I really like the majority of LH's output that I've seen on here. But, as you and Bill are among the most vocal supporters of LH, I truly would like to see/hear your opinions as to where LH sometime's misses the mark. This would be especially helpful to me and others if/when we come to the decision to someday (sooner or later) commission something from Mariano et al.

FWIW, I've always respected your opinions and writings on LH, so I'm interested in your reply. Certainly, you must have done similar research before visiting LH for the first time.

I have to admit I didn't care for the examples given in your original thread inquiring about Russell Plaid, but I really like this, it's a beautiful jacket. I love the pin stripe suit too, and the lining is pretty rocking.

Nice gear, whnay. Love that tie, and I really like that flannel cloth.

You're right, that does have great depth of color. The horn buttons also look like they have a nice patina. Well done!

whnay., that's another lovely haul from LH. You have great taste. That "Russell" plaid turned out way better than I expected. I'm envious of that one. Elbow patches?

MR refused to put them on until I wear it in.

Thanks for the comments, what I didn't pic were the 3 chambray shirts I received that are nearly identical as the one I already have - they are an addiction like no other.

I can, my navy sharkskin generally misses the mark (especially as compared to my other garments). I blame it partly on my fabric choice - a 8 oz just doesn't keep its shape as a 12 oz+. I've thought about having it remade but I don't want to bother with it - its good enough, just not perfect.

Not that anyone cares but my inspiration for the suit was this pic.
