When you open a bottle of that age, do you do any decanting, or just straight into the glass?

If it's just me and Mrs. Piob probably straight into the glass and we can rotate the glass while sipping the last pour to get sediment to stick to the side of the glass. With others I decant.

2019 Marthe Henry Boillot Bourgogne ‘Les Grandes Gouttes’

Poured a glass and saved the rest for the next day. The first glass had me flashing back to driving down Valley with some fruit tea from Chicha San Chen. The palate filled out on day two with youthful fruit and acid. Lemon, kumquat, limestone, honeysuckle, and a bit of cream.

The '21 Pradeaux was as good as I've ever had from them. Really good strawberry/watermelon coming through.

The back story on the Slacker brand is that Matt was accused by his parents of turning into a slacker (this is what us Gen X got called by the Grups in the 90s) after moving to Paso to pursue his passion. Not as ageable as Linne, but then again, half the price and just as drinkable.
