I'm jelly. In no particular order, because all of these kick absolute ass, I'd visit:

L'Adventure
Booker
Denner
Ledge
Clos Selene
Villa Creek
Torrin
TH Cellars (formerly Terry Hoage)
Saxum
Linne Calodo

There is a lot of others and some are just a fun visit, like Opolo, some that are both fun with not bad wine like Tobin James, some are historical like Eberle, and there is indeed some plonk.

I think I'd rather tour CdP than Bordeaux. I know that's heresy but that's how I roll.

This thread is the perfect place to gain knowledge and enthusiasm for all things grape.

I started out with a half case of £25 Riojas six months ago - with no intentions of going above that level. Since then I have recalibrated my spending cap and more importantly my expectations. As with all things though, it is a slippery slope - particularly if you want to mix it with some of the more experienced posters on here and see what all the fuss is about.

Edit: wrong message was replied. Sorry.

Holy crap, where's the Super Like button?
Not half bad. Had it with simple pasta fresca, virgin olive oil, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and some truffle for lunch. Like the fact the wine being 15 year older than myself, makes me feel a bit younger than I'm actually am. Recived a case as a gift (after his yuppie days in the London stock exchange during the eighties he don't need the money anyway) from a former colleague and have been kickin' it in the cellar for a good 10 years.

He's my kind of colleague.

Brut Nature Cava rosé. 60 year old Mataró (Monastrell) vines. Bone dry and quite delicious.

Had this with homemade pizza. Toppings were caramelized onions, homemade Andouille sausage, mozzarella and pepperoni. The Beaujolais was classic with great fruit and stemmy notes. Wish I had more.

Kickass-Mencia from Bierzo. Spain in general just keep them coming... 20190622_164955.jpg

Four weeks vacation ahead. Too much wine and as usual end up as a trainwreck

I agree with you and @Nemesis_4 ,at least in theory and from current standpoint. Also prefer Côte-Rôtie (just love the La Landonnde from E.Guigal) over Bordeaux. Basically touring Rhône valley from north to south passing Hermitage, Gigondas and Cornas.

A rare excursion to the most seriously wine-y beer. There's place for it IMHO.
