WHAT?! There were Simon Millers handed out and I was not alerted? UGHHH. My only pair are my favorite and most worn pair of pants I own are Simon Miller.

FUUUUUUUUU.

I have yet to receive mine but I have the other pair on the way!

Major shout out to GMMcL for proxying my now favorite pair of jeans. These Simon Miller's are bad ass and fit me perfect. I think they are NWOT

. What's the width like? I know it's tagged EEE but maybe you could tell, narrower by chance?

Hit up the two stores closest to me yesterday...these were a little bit out of my element, but seemed worth snagging:

700

Made in USA? Check. 60/40 shell? Check. Down filled? Check. Vintage? Check.
On the primer Nataku sent me? Nope. But for $10 and returnable, certainly worth a gamble and taken.

To keep or to secret santa, that is the question.

Public schools in my district aren't great, but there are a few Montessori/magnet schools that are on par with the best in the state. Unfortunately, admission is first come, first serve. On the plus side, I only have to go brought this process for her first year there.

I have tons of friends that went to Clark Montessori. Good luck getting your kid into a good school...I went to school out in the boonies of Cincinnati (Batavia) and wished I'd have transferred to a nicer school. Oh well...

Just a guess - St. Ursula? The little rich white girl school not-so-ironically placed at the mouth of the ghetto?

That school has been there for decades a century, and Walnut Hills is definitely not the ghetto. Speaking of which, I lived in OTR for two years and loved every second of it.

No idea on the brand, but if you advertise it correctly it could make for a decent sale.

It was half off of green tags this week at GW. Guess what color this one's tag was!

Talbot's in SWMBO's size. 100% wool. $7.50 instead of $15 and best of all...

She's happy!

Great find - excellent way to go with your instinct on this stuff.

Sloooow day today, but came out ahead in one of the best ways possible.

Found a cool red/gray/black check Pendleton shirt dated 1960 in my size. Also found a really cool pair of rip-stop khaki Polo RL shorts for $3. Can't pass those up at that price, right? Get home and try them on. Put my hands in the pockets and feel that distinct stiff paper of US currency. Lo and behold, I pull out two $50 folded in half. :slayer:

Second time I've found $100 in a pair of Polo RL shorts! First time I actually had a dream about finding $100 and depositing it at my bank. Decided to wear my new (to me) seafoam green Polo cargo shorts that day and opened the cargo pocket to put my cell phone in. Reached in to make a call 10 minutes later and pulled out a folded $100 bill. Crazy!
