I was just in Tokyo about a month ago. The Japanese are pretty damned stylish, especially in the twentysomething age group. Your average Japanese 25-year-old is better dressed than your average American 25-year-old could ever dream of being. It's quite remarkable.

Do they have a website?
I'd love to browse even the pictures.
Thank you for sharing the photos!

These kind of 'style' tips are missing from most "fashion" mags. More style, less fashion please, this magazine is an excellent example of a great style mag.

Japanese fashion magazines are the best in the world...
They are full of pictures , information and fashion tips compared to the more conceptual American or European ones...
They're little sartorial bibles even if sometimes presentation is not their actual forte...

Just make sure you're making a fair comparison. Are you comparing 25 year olds from Tokyo to 25 year olds from NYC? Where you're from could have a lot to do with it.

That's cool. I might do the same. Did you just go through their website?

Do you get Mens' Ex delivered to the USA? Did u subscribe online?

I get sick of having to go to the Japanese bookstore every month before the magazines sell out. Would prefer to subscribe.

I think Mens' Ex is a bit better than Leon.... but they are not that far apart.

Yesterday i was looking at some magazine called Free & Easy... that was interesting. It was a Japanses work wear type of magazine.

Anybody know of a Japanese book store in DC? Or any book store down here that sells these magazines?

Free & Easy has been pretty influential in the past year or two. I know I've tried to steal some looks from it, and it's shown up all over the place in profiles of designers/lines--J crew, Urban Outfitters.

Thanks for the scans, boy wonder.
