By the way I like what Ernest Alexander is doing. Nice looking bags. Is the brown bag in the pic above waxed? It sorts looks like it might be. If not that's an easy fix. While on the subject I'm really impressed with Ken Chow's Krane bags.

Hmmmmm

Crane's carrying Krane, that would be cool.

I sure would like to see the entire line of Krane but it doesn't look like pics and descriptions are readily available. I can find a piece here or there but that's it.

Buy some Krane! You're in the same area code as my folks so I'd definitely buy a bit.

The brown bag is not waxed. I was thinking about this, but had no idea how to do it. Would you have any suggestions on how to do it?

Get two or 3 cans of Filson wax and a hair dryer. Warm up the wax and then start rubbing it in with an old t shirt. Once you get it on good and thick heat the bag with the hair dryer and melt it into the bag. Be forewarned, it is a tedious and time consuming process but in the end it'll be worth it.

You can ask him anything and he'd have a solution for you.

Re Krane bags - people can email Ken Chow or his staff for a catalog. I have one from a year ago; it has info on its complete line - photos, measurements, etc. Contact info on the website (www.kranedesign.com).

On that note, I actually just checked out the site - they have updated it with lots of new photos - they look good! I want a leather Krivak.

I'm getting these two in the next month or so:

MEGA KOP Fits my aesthetic to a T, and the quality is right for the pricepoint. I have a filson leather briefcase for work, will be getting a small duffle and a tote as well. Build quality is great, it looks amazing. EDIT: Crane's shipped me my Filson stuff, and for anyone that doesn't know, those guys are legends. Send them your monies! I'll be getting my next lot off you as well.

There's no affiliates that stock Krane is there? Roden Gray isn't an affiliate right?
