I purchased this pair of Ted Bakers today. When I walk on concrete, the soles become dirty, and have pebbles and sticks imprinted onto them. The little soldier embossed onto the sole has begun to wear out.

I've read that this is intentional and symbolic in a way

My question is if there would be any way to strengthen the sole or to salvage the embossing, or if I should find a local cobbler to replace the sole when its worn out completely.

For reference, this link has an image of the same embossing
