i became extremely interested in fashion about 2 years ago and most people think i dress very well. but the thing is, i feel that i am not getting the bang for the buck since i spend quite a bit each year on clothing but i still don't look like the people from http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/ or gossip girl, LOL. i just feel there is something missing. most of the time i do a dress shirt, slacks or chinos, v-neck sweater, jacket and pocket square. almost all of my shirts are from turnbull and asser, i also have some alain figaret, kilgour and j. crew. i usually wear loafers from ferragamo with jackets from gieves, armani, versace, agnes b., kilgour. so most of the time i look decent, but i am just not sure how to improve. i feel maybe its because my taste is rather too conservative and my clothing makes me look older than i really am? also i am quite thin, i am about 5'11 but i only weigh about 142lbs. i don't really like skinny jeans even though someone made that suggestion before. i would be grateful for any suggestions and things i should look out for when shopping for clothing.
