Taboo to hem Dior MIJ 19cm?

Well, is it? While I like the look on DH's runway models, even though I'm a relatively slim 6ft (under 165 lbs), it's just kind of hard to get used to that much material stacked up around my ankles. I've always kind of gravitated to less break in my trousers (a la GS), but love the cut of these so much. They seem to look best with chucks vs. bulkier dress shoes/brogues (AE MacNeil). Suggestions?

I hemmed mine. I have never thought much of the heavily bunched look, so I cut that ridiculous length off and they look great. Like a pair of slim, raw jeans.

Not all of the runways models wore their DH slim jeans with bunching.

It depends on the look you're going for. If you're going for more of a young professional with a little edge like GS, then you probably want to hem them a little bit. But if you want a bit of a hipper, slightly younger look, you would probably want to consider a bit of stacking (although you can hem an inch or two if you really want. Note though, that these might not be the best jeans to get and hem a bunch as they taper a fair amount and you'd probably mess with the whole silhouette and the hem opening a decent amount. Thin finns have a relatively similar cut and can be bought in shorter inseams if you want a shorter look.

I don't know if you're planning on selling them down the road, but be aware that they're a lot harder to sell hemmed than unhemmed.

If it makes you happier DH did present some normal length or cropped trousers on the runway, the overlong look being just the more well-known and quintessentially Dior one.
