Well, since we're going in that direction, why not try a button-up instead of a t-shirt? Generally looks much better, especially tucked.

Uniqlo $4.90 basic tees are amazingly soft with a great fit. If you can purchase them, remember to buy one size smaller as they run large. XS = 19" pp, S = 20" pp, etc. etc.

yeah, wearing t-shirt under that kind of jacket looks weird and bad IMO. Get some awesome fitted button ups from somewhere, hah.

BUT since that wasn't the request, I like American Apparel t's because they fit me well. Lots of colors, 15 bucks a piece, and lately they have had excellent consistency(in sizing) between individual t shirts.

well if you're set on the idea, the only time i have seen it work is with neutral colors like black, grey, navy, and so on. it seems like stuff on the darker end of the spectrum works better

Many of the designs are only available at Uniqlo Japan stores. The t-shirts are reasonably priced and shipped worldwide.
