Summer is when I wear my tan shoes. To me they look great with the lighter colors worn in summer.

I'm dying to get the C&J Harvard or Henley... hope the "exchange rate discount" is still in effect when I have enough cash.

I have a pair of brown suede penny/venetian loafers that I wear in the summer sans stocks. I usually wear them with shorts but sometimes casual pants (linen, jeans, etc) as well. I haven't figured out a way to make them work with socks yet though. Would love to hear suggestions from those who've managed to pull it off.

Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on something like this. This may be more of a SW&D thing but was thinking about picking up a pair of these or something similar for very casual wear.

I was standing for almost 4-1/2 hours straight in a concert during the weekend wearing my Purcells and had no discomfort nor issues with my feet, legs nor back. I think they hold up pretty well.

JPs definitely provide more support than Chuck Taylors.

Also yellowish tan oxford brogues seem to work for me. I wear either pair with invisible socks for a sockless look.

I'd like to know more about these "invisible socks".....

Scroll down to the middle of the page. I wear these "foot covers" sometimes with tennis shoes or boat shoes. They make going "sockless" much more comfortable.

The "leg model" pictures on this website are weird, but what can you expect from a company selling men's panty hose?

Don't worry. As long as Obama sticks to his idiotic policies the dollar will continue to fall against foreign currencies.

I think the insole is pretty comfortable, but I pronate a little, and the JPs don't give good arch support. Also, the first pair I have pinched a little on the toes. I've sized up, though they're closer to clown shoes. I like them, though, and think they're great summer shoes.
